When should Soprema V+ exterior insulation be installed?
Installing continuous insulation beneath siding can only be done during an exterior siding replacement. The wall must be exposed to allow the insulation panel to be installed, followed by proper preparation of the building envelope before the new siding is installed. It is therefore not an addition that can simply be installed over existing siding.
If your siding is nearing the end of its service life, the project may be an opportunity to consider adding exterior insulation. The decision depends in particular on the condition of the wall, the building configuration, and the scope of the planned work. We assess these factors before preparing a quote.
